On Photoshop CS5 if you work on a zoomed photo that fills up the whole screen, will it fill up on a printed page the same way? I keep trying to print the way it looks on the screen and it's not working

No, the size on screen does not automatically equate to the printed size. Take a look at the image size (Image>Image Size) and note the dimensions in mm/cm/inches and compare to the size paper you are printing the image on. You can scale up or down in your print settings to fill the page but if your image is much smaller than your paper size it will become pixellated and unclear.
